This is the latest drawing - James Marsters at the Paley Reunion. While much more realistic I prefer the more stylized one with the exotic quality. Feedback on styles would be much appreciated. This is one of the "cheato" drawings but it's an excellent way to learn how to eventually get better "realistic style" portraits - even with this technique still surprised at how easy it is to make mistakes. My new drawing is back to complete free hand.

That's amazing! Love it...

I did a pastel painting few years ago with his hair the longest he has ever worn it. He looks great with long hair at that period in his life. Some day I will have to do something with that Strange Drippy Curls look he had for Wedding Band and The Bells of West 87th Street -
Was thinking I would like to revisit this scene again since I just re-read the Spike vs Dracula IDW comic books.
Take Angel and DB - outside of season one and some select episodes from season three - I never got the "face of an angel" thing. Millions of fans for DB who think he is absolutely gorgeous handsome and I don't see him this way at all.
Just Goes To Show -
I think DB looks quite handsome, but "face of an angel" better describes Spike in the early seasons, I think.
