Buffyverse and Beyond - nmcil12
Studies Buffy Season 11

I'm finding Buffy Season 11 very much to my liking - I've always felt that what was most compelling and significant to me about the Buffyverse was how it reflected back on Real Life and with this story the Buffyverse has returned to matters of great important.

These are strictly my personal opinions of the political dynamics taking place in the USA now - I use Joss Whedon's characters because I know that he is as disgusted and appalled with how the USA presidential elections played out in 2016 and with what this new president and his supporters have chosen to do with the powers now in their hands.

I welcome your thoughts about these graphics and this new Buffy Season 11 story.

Love it! What a great way to express your feelings. I haven't been reading the comics, but I know Buffy would not stand for that shit.

Thanks for visiting and your comments. Can't think of a stronger symbol of Woman Warrior power than Harriet Tubman - one woman who refused to Not Care or let Fear stand in her way. And Abraham Lincoln, another great man and leader so totally different from what we have today.

I could have used Nelson Mandela or MLK or Ghandi but I had to go with President Lincoln for stark contrast.

I really like this, but I think you may mean "Jordan", not "Jordon"?

Thanks EVER for the correction - of course it's Jordan as in the symbolic river of liberation. I loved Buffy calling her "Little Miss Stromtrooper."

Image fixed now.

That looks great and is very appropriate. I read #3 a couple of days ago, but haven't found the time to discuss.
