Buffy Tears - Spike Webcomic

Here is a sample of another image that shows what I interpret as Buffy with teary eyes.  This might help with the question regarding if she is intented to show "teary eyes" on the last panel of the Spike webcomic.

That doesn't look like tears to me. I see that technique of not closing the black lines in the corner of the eye all to often in comics for it to mean tears, IMO.

Why would she have teary eyes on this cover? It's a Twilight parody. Bella has a blank facial expression, and everyone's faces on that cover are rather blank. Almost half of every image of Buffy has left the corners of her eyes white instead of colouring them pink or her skin tone, unless she's crying every five minutes. Look at the very first issue of the S8 for example, only six panels actually have the corners of her eyes coloured in and most of them are close-ups; the rest leave the whites of her eyes bleeding into the corner.

Yeah, pretty sure folks just choose to see it as tears when it's really just how the artwork was done...

Anyway, do you have plans on posting the Spike comic? I have sadly yet been able to read it :/

Yeah, I'm on the fence about the tear thing, I didn't notice it nor thought it was a tear when I first read the comic. Buffy looked annoyed/concerned/confused to me.
