Feel both happy and sad - just got my copy of "Live Fast, Die Never" and listening to the wonderful songs by Andy Hallett, brings tears to my eyes just thinking that Andy Hallett and his ever beautiful Lorne are gone now - Plus, the wonderful song used for Fred's human exit from the series makes me think about what happens to Spike and Buffy going from Season Six to Season Seven -

How completely stupid it will be if their magnificent journey arc will be delegated to second place finish - how much more powerful and compelling their story is compared to the relationship that was Buffy - Angel.  Strictly my opinion, but the real significance of their journey takes place as the necessary rite of passage to move Buffy into her role as The Slayer and the full acceptance of her life and duty, and even her imprisonment in that life - certainly the most significant event in her emotionally traumatized life from that relationship.

You are always free to use any of my graphics and I can always adjust text if you want to use any for banners -

The more you spend time with Spike the more you love the character - I have never become so engaged with a character before - ever. Not from TV or Film. The other fictional character that always stays with me is Anna Karenina.

Yes, Angel just didn't grow very much. Spike was evolving; it kept him interesting. And when Spike changed, Buffy's relationship with him changed, and vice versa. Angel just moped along in Buffy's shadow.

Spike to me has always been the more interesting and compelling character - Angel/Angelus never really became interesting to me until he had his own series -

And that series rocked. It even turned Wesley into a real character.

thanks ever for your visit - I LOVED what Wesley became at AtS - by the end of the series he was my favorite character along with Lorne of all the original AI Team.

Been looking at a great deal of screencaps for a project - when you look at the individual images you can see just how great these two characters and actors worked together. They really did have a powerful screen presence together and their "journey of transformation" arc, was for me the most powerful of all the stories in the entire Buffyverse.

Irrespective of what is finally done with the comic book season and its impact on Buffy and Spike, their journey of love, life and spiritual growth will always be one that I love and admire.

will be posting new images soon, please stop by again.
